NCJW Dallas invites you to Policing in 2023: Community Intervention – Successes and Challenges. The 2023 Opening Meeting is the first event of our CATALYSTS series and will feature Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia as guest speaker.

Chief Garcia will discuss how the Dallas Police have integrated community intervention in its practices, particularly by expanding a mental health response program. We will learn about:

• The current status and the community impact of the RIGHT Care program
• Dallas policing 3 years after George Floyd
• Bias and hate crime watch/response
