Cynt Marshall has been a dynamic force for inclusion and diversity within the Mavericks organization and over a 36-year career at AT&T. When Cynt was hired as the CEO of the Mavs in March 2018, she set her sights on a culture transformation. Her vision was for the Mavericks organization to become the NBA standard for inclusion and diversity. Cynt brought transparency, trust and her values-based leadership style that evolved the company culture in her first 100 days.

Our October 7 event speaker, Mavericks CEO Cynt Marshall has been in the news all week both locally and nationally. She just published her memoir You’ve Been Chosen, which is already ranked the Number 1 release in the Women and Business category on Amazon.

Publisher’s Weekly describes this debut effort as ‘a heartwarming spiritual memoir about her battle with cancer and navigating the corporate world as a Black woman.

Cynt has agreed to autograph her books after the program.  A limited number of copies will be available for purchase at the event.
