In 2008, NCJW Dallas convened a community conference: Nation of Immigrants: 21st Century Challenges. The event attracted a large and diverse audience. Building on the success of the conference, NCJW has brought together With One Voice, a coalition of Dallas area groups that serve and/or advocate for immigrants. The coalition’s current focus is generating public support for humane, comprehensive reform of immigration laws and policies.

This conference, which took place in February 2008, explored the complex issues surrounding immigration, highlighted the needs of immigrants, and promoted communication and coordination among area groups that serve immigants.
